Ryan Travis

Ryan Travis is the founder of Honest Web Development. He has a certificate in Web Development from Boston University and a B.A. degree from Bridgewater State College. Before becoming a Web Developer, Ryan worked as quality assurance tester for Turbine INC, a computer software company. He specializes in website integration with content management systems including Wordpress and Joomla.

Ryan is committed to staying up to date on web technologies and does so buy constantly buying books to add to his collection and by attending web developer events. Two recent events that he has attended are Rich Internet Applications and Word Camp Boston.

Ryan enjoys building his own computers, overclocking, benchmarking, and tweaking them to achieve maximum performance. Ryan is also a history buff, who is particularly interested in the American early colonial period.
